LATC Essentials was founded by Aneesha, the creator behind @locsandthecity, a hair and lifestyle creator with thick, mid-length locs.
After years of improvising (even as a loose natural) with doubling up scrunchies, stretching out elastics, and hunting for accessories that didn’t snag locs, create tension headaches, or cause breakage, she started curating pieces for herself first. This became the foundation for LATC Essentials: accessories rooted in real-life experience, not guesswork.
Today, the brand is an extension of that community. It's made for anyone who’s ever thought, “This would be perfect… if it actually fit my hair."
